UMC Youth Ministry

1. Confirmation Weekend Retreat @ Lake Junaluska for Confirmands & Faith
Friends
Date: March 7-9, 2008
We will depart from the church at 3:30 pm on Friday, March 7, and return
around 4:30 pm on Sunday, March 9.

Cost: $100 (Scholarships are available for Confirmands and Faith Friends
upon request. Contact me for more
information.)
Deposit of $50 and registration form are due Sunday, January 13. The
remaining balance is due Sunday, February 3.

Mail deposit to, or place in the office box of, Taunia Rice. Taunia is
one of the Administrative Assistance and collects
all money for trips & retreats.

2. Serving the Community

Friday, January 25, the Confirmands and Faith Friends are signed up to
host Room in the Inn. Email me to let me know if
you can or cannot participate.

We need one or two parent volunteers) to coordinate the meals (dinner,
breakfast and lunch). Let me know if you
are willing to help coordinate meals.

We also need 2 adults to spend the night with out guest. Let me know if
you are willing and able
to serve.
